Sao Paulo, Brazil
The ACTION:Winnipeg team will work alongside local pastors and church leaders in Sao Paulo, while focusing on building relationships with the Brazilian MB conference and connecting with the MB churches. Part of the ministry will be spent in the city, working with the churches and helping with outreach in Sao Paulo's shanty towns. The team will also be helping to build up a camping and retreat center in the rainforest just outside of the city. For more information on how MB Mission is involved in Brazil, click here.

While in Brazil, the ACTION team will be based of the capital city of Sao Paulo - one of the largest cities in the world.
One of the areas in which the Brazilian churches are doing ministry is in the Favelas, the poorest areas of the city. The team will work with the churches to run kids progams in these areas and to serve the communities.
The team will also spend some time partnering with a discipleship program called Espresso Action. This group of young people is involved in regular outreach activities, including clowning ministry at local hospitals.
There will also be opportunities to do construction and work projects at various churches and within their communities.
