Overview

Welcome to the Central Canada Mobilization page. As a team, we are working with churches, families and individuals in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba to mobilize people, prayer and resources into global mission. Whatever stage of life you are in, our desire is to support you as you join God in the transformation that he is doing around the world.

Programs & Events

SOAR Heartland
SOAR Heartland is a 10-day discipleship training and mission program. Teams from across the prairies will join together in Winnipeg to train, serve, eat, dorm and debrief together. Each team is paired up with a church or ministry within the inner city and serves alongside them during their ministry assignment. ACTION:Winnipeg
ACTION:Winnipeg is a six week program that gives you the opportunity to engage in international missions alongside established long-term missionaries. 2012 ministry assignment locations are DR Congo, Portugal, Japan, Peru, Panama, and Brazil. MUD Cafe Nights (Mission Under Discussion)

Mission Under Discussion Cafe Nights provide a place for worship, discussion, and connection with other mission minded people. Meet friends and enjoy coffee and good food - join us! MUD Cafes happen at Canadian Mennonite University at 7:00 PM, on the following dates:

Celebrate Mission Night

This event is a time to come together as the body of Christ to learn about, celebrate, support, and pray for what God is doing around the world through global mission. This year the CMN will be happening throughout the Central Canada region on the following days:

October 14, 2011: Regina, SK
October 16, 2011: Linden, AB
November 19, 2011: Winnipeg, MB
November 20, 2011: Steinbach, MB

How We Can Serve You

Speaking: We would be happy to join you at an event, retreat, or church service to share our heart for mission and to encourage you to discover how God might be calling you and challenge you to step out in mission.

Going: If you or your church is interested in stepping out in cross-cultural mission, we can connect you with our missionaries through one of our programs, through a unique mission experience based on your calling and gifts, or by entering into conversation about opportunities for long term mission with MB Mission. Some of the programs run out of the Central Canada region include:
- SOAR (March 22 - March 31, 2011)
- ACTION (June 29 - August 10, 2011)
- Church Teams

Traning: We are able to join you or your church in providing consultation, orientation, debrief and training for upcoming mission trips or other mission related initiatives. 

Networking: One of the neat things about the Central Canada region is a growing community of people who passionate about exploring mission together, and we would love to have you join our community. As well, we are available to provide you with information about global initiatives and different ways that MB Mission can partner with you.
