Austria

Austria is famous for its music, art and beautiful scenery, all things that can point to God's glory. However, Austrians need a personal faith in Christ. Seventy-five percent of Austrians call themselves Christians, but 80% have been involved in the occult and only 3% of the younger generation attends church. Evangelical churches are small and few in number and pastors for these congregations are needed. MB Mission has been working in Austria for over twenty years. The vision is to see the Austrian MB churches produce strong, motivated and spiritually vibrant leaders.

• For missionaries Richard and Hazel Funk as they continue to provide mentoring, teaching and counsel for Austrian and German MB churches
• That Austrian MB congregations will be able to reach their neighborhood and nation effectively with the Gospel
• Pray that MB missionaries will be effective as they train and disciple nationals to be strong leaders in their own country
