France
Famous for its bread, cheeses and wines, France is a top tourist destination for many North Americans. For the developing world, however, it has been a different kind of destination: a place that welcomed immigrants. You are now 5 times more likely to meet a Muslim (10% of the population) than an evangelical disciple of Jesus (2%) in almost any city in France. Tensions continue to rise as France's secular government adopts laws to limit religious expression in public.
Our primary mission focus in France is in reaching the lost through the Speisers creative arts teaching, worship and evangelism ministry.
Please pray:
- For Russ and Marj Speiser and their media ministry aimed at unreached people in France and back in their countries of origin
- That in France many more seeds can be sown and that reaping will increase in the "open place" between the radically secular and the religiously fanatic
