Germany
When many Christians think of Germany, Martin Luther and the Reformation come to mind. But today, many German people do not have a relationship with Jesus. While Germany is affluent materially, there is great need spiritually. Many middle-aged and older Germans have given up on the traditional Church, and young people believe that the Church's teachings are irrelevant. Yet Germans of all ages are looking for answers, and they are open to God.
Our primary area of mission in Germany is church planting via subsidies and leadership training in partnership with the Bavarian and German Mennonite Brethren Conferences. In addition to this, there are church planting ministries to immigrants from the Soviet Union through LOGOS.
Please pray:
- That the MB church plant in Berlin will have a transformational impact on that city
- For Andre & Olga Pritzkau and Ben & Melissa Froese, who serve in Berlin
- That believing Germans will develop an increased passion to reach out to unsaved fellow citizens and that God will raise up more German believers to start new churches
- That this nation will be transformed by the love, grace and power of the living Jesus
