Biography: Barbara is the child of missionaries. In university, she became involved with International Student Ministries, going on to join IVCF staff with support through MCC. She had a BFA degree and, as she found her interest in serving in other countries growing, she added a Bachelor of Education. Since 2001, Barbara's ministry has involved teaching art at Kodaikanal International School, a Christian multicultural school in South India which is linked to Bethania Association, a home for needy children.  She is on the Board of Directors for Bethania.

Prayer Requests:

  • That the needs of children are met - whether at Kodaikanal International School or Bethania, and that they will grow into relationship with their Lord
  • That I would be consistent in my witness and be aware of what God wants me to be doing in His Kingdom on a daily basis
