Biography: Our family has been in Thailand since 2006. We are in our second term of church-planting in Phuket, south Thailand, together with Cynthia Friesen.

We are excited about the small group of believers and seekers that we gather with each Saturday evening. We are privileged to spend time each week with people at various stages of their journey towards God. With some, we can spend time reading the Bible and praying. With others, we encourage them to attend our weekend service, to "taste and see that God is good". With still others, we have opportunity to build relationship through teaching English, or spending time with them in some other way, always with the goal in mind of sharing our lives, and thus, the gospel, with them.

We spend time each week in worship to our amazing Creator God, in intercession for the people God has brought into our lives, in relationship with our family, team, and friends, in meetings to discern and plan the next steps God has for us, in our Thai dictionaries - the never ending but ever stimulating journey towards mastery of this beautiful and difficult language (!), and finally, at the feet of Jesus, calling on Him to order our days, our steps, our path for His glory.

We consider it a great privilege to be here in Thailand at such a time as this! We continue to enjoy the adventure that God has us on.

Prayer Requests:

• Pray for continued unity for our team, for physical and spiritual protection, and for wisdom as we engage in church planting ministry together
• Pray that our family would grow deeper in love with Jesus, in our ability to recognize when God is speaking to us, and in walking in obedience to all that He calls us to
• Pray for many opportunities to reach out to our neighbors with the love of Jesus, to disciple new Christians, and to grow God's church in Phuket
