Biography: Jen is part of the Matthew Team that is serving in Guadalajara. They provide specialized cross-cultural training and spiritual guidance to see each missionary candidate become an effective long-term missionary. They desire to see hundreds of trained and fruitful missionaries serving among the nations, making thousands of disciples for God's Kingdom. The Matthew Team is also responsible for coordinating and planning short term mission trips from North America to Latin America, and are involved in church planting and evangelism in Guadalajara.

Background: Jen has her roots in southern Manitoba as she grew up on a farm outside of Elm Creek, MB.  A 3 week trip to the Philippines while she was attending Bethany College first piqued her interest in cross cultural ministry.  Jen participated in a 10-month TREK during which she served in Colombia and first met the Godards.  A deep appreciation for the Latin culture was born out of that experience.  Jen also had the opportunity to work at Bethany College for a number of years serving as a Residence Director during which discipling and mentoring were key aspects of her role. 

Prayer Requests:

• Wisdom in discipling Mexican youth as well as participants from short term teams
• That my life would be a reflection of God's love and hope to the people around me
• To effectively prepare and train others to go to the nations
