A Big God

“Why don’t you believe in something bigger than what you have? Why don’t you believe that I am a God who can move mountains and change people’s lives? Nothing is a challenge for Me.”

Having recently graduated from high school, Greg Regehr had many questions that he was asking God about what he should do with his life. He decided to go on TREK and during this time he prayed, “God, I have a full life to live. What do you want me to do?”

As he sought the Lord’s will for his life, Greg’s questions were answered and he found that God was nudging him in the direction of long term missions. He also learned about having faith and believing that God can do big things!

God showed that He was more than able to answer the prayers of Greg’s team. When they first received their visas for the restricted access country they would be serving in, the team only had a 60 day visa. They needed a 3 month visa. They weren’t sure whether their visas would be extended or if they would have to come home early.

The team prayed and trusted that God would work out this situation. They saw God’s blessing and provision as their visas were extended twice!

Throughout his time on TREK, God revealed to Greg that He is good and can always be trusted. Praise God for growing the faith of this team! Pray that they will continue to seek God’s guidance and direction in their lives.

Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. – John 16:24
