A New Home

Vidonia* nervously entered the Massamá church. She had often heard the sound of people singing in worship from her apartment nearby but she had always been too shy to find out where the sound was coming from.

But this week, Vidonia could not hold back her curiosity. When she heard the singing, she grabbed her Bible and left her apartment in search of the source of the music.

As soon as she stepped into the church, Vidonia immediately felt at home. She had been searching for meaning and fellowship and she discovered it among the people who gathered together in this place. She knew that she had found her church home.

Vidonia, her husband, and her two sons now all attend the Massamá church regularly. They are part of this church body and have found a home and a family in this place.

Otto & Marjorie Ekk , missionaries serving with MB Mission, are involved with the Massamá church plant in Portugal, which has been meeting together for a number of years. Earlier this year, they officially became a church!

Praise God – He is building His church all over the world! Pray for the people in Portugal and all across Europe who are searching for purpose in their lives. Pray that God will reveal Himself to them and that they will experience the joy of knowing Christ. Pray also that the members of the Massamá church will be faithful to reach out and share the gospel with their family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.
