Knowing the Creator

Oe was created by God. He knew everything about her and cared about each detail of her life. But Oe did not know God. She was one of the millions of Thai people who have never heard the name of Jesus. Oe was going through life without the knowledge that there was a God who loved her and wanted to be in relationship with her.

But Oe’s life took a completely different direction when God reached into her life through an ACTION team that was serving in Phuket, Thailand. This team met Oe when they came to the university where she was studying and started connecting with students. Through this connection, Oe met MB Mission worker Amanda Griffioen who shared the gospel with Oe and introduced her to Jesus.

Now Oe delights in reading and memorizing the word of God and in learning new things about Jesus. Missionary Judy Griffioen has been encouraged to see Oe’s love for God’s word, and revealed that, “As Oe got more and more excited about memorizing scripture, I couldn’t keep up to her pace. A verse a day was tough enough, but when it became up to five verses, I just couldn’t keep up!”

God has given Oe a new identity as a daughter of God by adopting her into His family. Each day she knows her Creator in a deeper way and also desires for others to know Him. Praise God for Oe’s passion to share Jesus with her friends and family who don’t yet know Him. Oe is a key person among a large group of unreached Thai people. Pray that God will use her powerfully to draw others to Himself.
