One in Christ

“8 ethnic groups. 8 different passports. 7 different languages and 4 dialects. One Father, King, Saviour and God. And one family in Christ. Powerful unity, brotherly love, passionate worship and prayer, deep biblical teaching, healings, powerful answers to prayer and incredible stories of what God is doing in North Africa, including two stories of women who were raised from the dead!”

This was written by a missionary serving with MB Mission after he attended a conference for house church leaders in North Africa. The conference was a time where close to 40 believers gathered and prayed, learned, worshipped, ate, and laughed together.

One house church leader said, “I have been to many conferences as a pastor, but none of those conferences can compare to this one because of how close we have become as one family.” Praise God for the encouragement that each person received during this conference!

Many of these house church leaders experience persecution in their home countries and it was freeing for them to be able to worship openly without fear of repercussions. They shared with each other about their joys and their struggles.

Pray that God will empower these leaders to walk in humility and power by His Spirit. Pray for unity in the North African church and between leaders. Pray that God will raise up joy-filled leaders and witnesses who will speak, no matter what the cost, to anyone they meet about the good news.
