Biography: Galen grew up in Dinuba, California where he learned about Jesus, was baptized, and grew in his walk with God in the Kingsburg MB Church. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where he met his wife Linda. He is also a graduate of Fresno Pacific University and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.

Galen and Linda served 3 terms in Bogota & Medellin, Colombia with MB Mission where they were involved in church planting. They were part of the missionary team that started the Community of Peace Church in Bogota. Before joining MB Mission to serve as the RM, Galen pastored at Neighborhood Church, in Visalia, CA, as an Associate Pastor in Adult Ministries: Small Groups, Evangelism, Discipleship, as well as in Community and World Outreach.

Galen and Linda enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, and hosting others in their home for meals and playing pool. They also enjoy their grandsons who love to play and eat candy. Galen and Linda have 3 children. Anna is married to Greg Lanson and they have two sons, Isaac and Elijah. James and his wife Alyssa serve with MB Mission in Guadalajara, Mexico. Candace is married to Michael Coldren and they live in Visalia, CA.

Galen is enjoying his work at MB Mission where he gets to help churches and individual find their place in God's work of global mission.
