Training Values

The learning process, as ordained by God, takes place in real life.  It must be both experiential and contextual for it to be transformational.  In our Christian life and mission, we are transformed as we obey God’s voice over our lives.

MB Mission Training Values:
1. We believe the motivation for missionary learning comes from the Spirit of God. Jesus is the master teacher.
2. We believe the learning process takes place in real life. It must be experiential, contextual, relational and outcomes-based.
3. We believe missionaries are life long learners who are being transformed into the image of Jesus. (2 Cor. 3:18)
4. We believe transformational learning integrates character change, relational growth, spiritual awareness, cross-cultural sensitivity and ministry skill development which should be measured and celebrated.
5. We value classroom based, seminary level, theological and cross-cultural training.
6. We will continually equip our missionary teams in apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral, and teaching ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
