Evangelism and the Art of Fishing

When Jesus called his new recruits and told them he would make them “fishers of men” what did he mean?

I think he meant that they were going to apply the same principles that they used in fishing to leading people into the Kingdom of God. Sharing the gospel effectively requires more than memorizing our favorite scriptures or story lure.

Here are a number of principles that have helped me over the years to catch fish. They are not unique to me – and they are not set in stone – but they do work.
