MBMS International changes name.
Our decision to change the name of MBMS International to MB Mission has been a journey of discovery and relationship building.
For more than 110 years Mennonite Brethren (MB) men and women have followed the call of God, risking the uncertainties of the unknown to bring the message of salvation to unreached regions of the world.
Today, MB Mission celebrates a new season of God’s faithfulness. Rooted in generations of committed mission teams supported by the Mennonite Brethren family, we continue to obey Christ’s biblical commandment to “go to all the world.” Our passion for the Gospel fuels our vision to carry His Word to those who are the least likely to have heard the Truth.
We have simplified our new name and logo to more effectively communicate the stories of the work God is doing world-wide. The bright-coloured icon is easily identified as MB Mission and boldly speaks of our vision to follow the call of God, transforming communities through the power of Jesus Christ.
God is opening many new doors.
We walk forward in obedience. The writer of Hebrews captures our vision: “Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.” (Hebrews 12:12, 13).
With the prayerful support of the MB family, our teams work to plant new churches and transform entire communities as God’s grace floods the hearts of new Christ-followers. Missionary teams are currently serving in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim the salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
