His name is Oak, like the tree.
He’s six years old and lives in a slum in Thailand.
Both his parents are alive, as far as we know,
But they live in prison, so he never sees them.
Practically, Oak is an orphan.
Daily Prayer Guide

“We are leaving today for Thailand! After much preparation, we are so excited and thankful to be on our way. Praise God for providing visas and for all our supportive family and friends. Please pray for joy and peace in this transition, and especially that we as parents would succeed in loving our two young boys as we help them through all the changes. Pray that God’s Spirit would go ahead of us to our new home in Thailand and that he will work in the hearts of people in our new neighborhood. Pray that we would continue to seek intimate times alone with Jesus and that would provide the basis for our ministry in Thailand.”
The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Isaiah 60:19
