Country: Colombia
Project #: C0326
Needed: $10,400 (USD)
People who have been displaced by violence in their own country are being ministered to through the El Progreso Church in Bogota. Besides the regular weekly worship services, pastoral care, education and meals are provided for those who live in these extremely poor neighborhood.
The church desires to continue growing holistically as they minister to those on the margins of society. There is a school and daycare on the church premises so that children who would not have been able to attend school can have the opportunity to learn and gain an education. The pastor couple at the church are passionate about reaching out and being the hands and feet of Jesus to the poor and displaced.
