Additional Costs

Your Ministry Support ($495) covers your lodging, food, and ministry assignment activities.  MB Mission asks that you cover the additional expenses of transporation, identification, and health insurance.

Transportation
Please arrange your own transportation to and from Montréal and confirm your travel plans with the Eastern Canada Office before booking them.

Plane:  Arrive at Montreal's Trudeau Airport (YUL) by 3:00PM on the day the program begins.  MB Mission can provide shuttle services to and from the airport.

Train:  Arrive at Montreal's VIA Central Station and take the Metro to the Cote-des-Neiges Metro stop, then walk to College Notre Dame at 3791 Chemin Queen-Mary.

During the Program:  Participants must arrange their own transportation during the program. You are welcome to use your own or rented vehicle, or the Montréal Metro.

Identification
Participants traveling within Canada must bring a birth certificate and photo ID; non-Canadian participants must bring a valid passport.

Health Insurance
You are responsible for your medical costs during SOAR Montréal. Please check with your Provincial Health Office to determine if additional coverage needs to be purchased. Your Provincial Health Insurance has limited coverage in Quebec. If you have a personal health plan, you may already have Travel Health Insurance. If not, you can obtain it through CAA or AAA.

*Important Note
MB Mission is only responsible for participants during the actual program. If a participant arrives earlier or plans to stay later than the specified program dates, they will have to make their own arrangements for food, lodging, and travel.
