Additional Costs

Your Ministry Support (approximately $350 US Dollars) covers your lodging, food and ministry assignment activities. MB Mission asks that you cover the following: Transportation, Identification and Health Insurance.

Transportation
To and From South Texas: You are required to arrange your own transportation to and from South Texas. Please confirm your travel plans with the Midwest USA Regional Office before booking travel arrangements. If you are traveling by plane, we recommend that you arrive at McAllen Texas (MFE). In the Rio Grande Valley: Individuals and teams must also arrange their own transportation during the program. You are welcome to use your own or rented vehicles.

Identification
Participants traveling within the USA must bring a birth certificate and a photo ID. All participants under 18 must bring a notarized parental authorization of travel signed by both parents or guardians. Non-US citizens must bring a valid passport.

Health Insurance
You are responsible for your medical costs during SOAR S. Texas. Be sure to check with your Health Provider to determine if additional coverage needs to be purchased. In case you do not have health insurance you can obtain travel insurance through AAA.

Important Note
MB Mission is only responsible for participants during the actual program. If a participant arrives earlier or plans to stay later than the specified program dates, they will have to make their own arrangements for food, lodging, and travel. Any individual or group wishing to travel into Mexico can do so before or after the SOAR S. Texas program but it will not be a MB Mission sponsored event.
