How to Apply

If you would like to apply, you can do so by:

  1. Applying Online (see below) or
  2. Downloading a Paper Application

Online Application Process

Step 1: Pray. You are entering an adventure that will stretch you and test you. Submission to God’s will is primary in the walk of obedience.

Step 2: Register Online.

Returning Users: If you already have an online MB Mission account (username & password), click here to login and apply online.

New Users: If you do you have an online MB Mission account (username & password), you must first create an account. Once you have created your account, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the activation link in the email to activate your account.

Once your account is activated, click here to login and apply online.

Step 3: Mail the following to our TREK Office.

  • Release of Liability
  • Photo with your name and program on the back
  • Non-refundable Deposit of $250 CAD/USD

Once we have received your completed application, it will take about two weeks to process.  Accepted participants will receive an Acceptance Package that includes:

  • Acceptance booklet containing more details
  • Prayer & Support Commitment Forms
  • Support raising resources: The Spirituality of Fund-Raising by Henri Nouwen and Short Term Support Manual by William Dillon
  • Don't Waste you Life by John Piper, to be read prior to your arrival at training.  
  • Home Mentor Contract

Paper Application Process

Step 2: Download TREK Paper Application. Print, complete and mail the application to our TREK Office. Be sure to mail each of the following items:

  • Participant Application Form
  • Release of Liability
  • Emergency Form
  • Tell Us About Yourself including a 1-page testimony
  • Photo with your name and program on the back
  • Non-refundable Deposit of $250 CAD/USD

Step 3: Obtain two references. Please note that one reference must be a pastor or member of your church’s Missions Committee. You can either mail in your reference forms with your application, or ask your references to mail or fax them directly to the office.
