A church meets in an area that people once used to avoid because it was known to be cursed. Although the land was good for farming, everyone was too fearful to live there.

But Pierre and his family knew that the presence of God with them was greater than the evil in the land. After inviting some missionaries to pray over the land, they moved in and began to prepare their fields for farming.

Over the years, others have realized that it is now safe to live in this area and believe that God truly is with Pierre and his family. Slowly people have joined them and a church has been formed!
