“I thought that the only value a woman had was when she was with a man…” Marta used to find her worth in relationships with men. She had little support in her life and was even shunned by her family after she gave birth to her daughter.

But when Marta opened her own beauty salon, one of her clients started inviting her to a local cell group. At first, Marta politely declined because she didn’t want a relationship with God.

Eventually, she decided to try it out. It was there that Marta discovered that a woman’s real value is found in God, not in a relationship with a man. She learned that God is always with us and promises to never leave us.

Now Marta uses her work in the salon as an opportunity to talk to people about Jesus. She shares her own experience of how God has helped her and tells others that He can do the same for anyone!
