- Large - 32mb When Shekhar was eleven years old, two white spots appeared on his face. At first his parents weren’t concerned, but they began to worry when the spots grew larger. Shekhar was taken to a Hindu priest and was instructed to pray to the Hindu gods for his healing.
Every morning, Shekhar would get up early, take a dip in the river, and kneel before an idol in hope of receiving healing. But his sickness did not go away.
One day, Shekhar heard about Jesus and His power to perform miracles. Shekhar believed that by trusting and praying to Jesus, he could be healed. For many days Shekhar prayed to God and he was completely healed! He was filled with joy and began worshiping Jesus.
Now Shekhar is serving among the Punjabi people in North India. Pray with him that God’s church will be built in the Punjab and that Punjabi people will worship Jesus.
